We hope you are all as excited as us that the Manchester Legal Awards will be back for 2024.
Entries will be opening on 12th February, and we will have a new website for you. There’ll even be an updated application form so you can save your details and come back to it rather than having to submit it all at once!
The key dates for MLA 2024 are:
- 12th February – Entries open
- 15th March – Deadline for entries
- 19th April – Shortlist to be announced
- 10th May – Judging Day – Make sure you keep it free!
- 6th June – Manchester Legal Awards Ceremony and Dinner – make sure you keep the day after free!

- Barrister/KC of the Year
- Barristers Chambers of the Year
- Corporate / Commercial – Team of the Year
- Crime Team of the Year
- CSR Champions of the Year
- Employment Team of the Year
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champions of the Year
- Family Law Team of the Year
- Health & Wellbeing Champions of the Year
- Large Law Firm of the Year (20+ partners nationally)
- Litigation Team of the Year
- Medium Law Firm of the Year (6-20 partners nationally)
- Partner of the Year (includes legal directors/members/principal lawyers/consultants)
- Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Team of the Year
- Private Client Team of the Year
- Property Team of the Year
- Regulatory Team of the Year
- Small Law Firm of the Year (1-5 partners nationally)
- Solicitor of the Year (excludes legal director/member/principal lawyer/consultant)
- Trainee/Paralegal/Apprentice/Legal Executive of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement
