What does happen at a joint meeting of experts?
Through the medium of role play Mark Underwood and Adam Smith, Forensic Accounting Directors with BDO, will demonstrate how a joint meeting should be and how it should not be conducted.
Marlon Underwood and Alvin Smith are engaged as Expert witnesses in a shareholder dispute which has allegedly caused substantial financial losses to the Petitioner.
The Experts have been ordered to meet at BDO’s offices in Manchester on Tuesday 28 March 2023 at 17:30 to attempt to narrow their areas of difference and set out their reasons for non-agreement.
The Experts will demonstrate, via two role plays, how an Experts’ Meeting should (and should not!) be conducted. Marlon Underwood and Alvin Smith have agreed to allow their (many) instructing solicitors to be present at the meeting.
Pre-meeting drinks will start at 17:00 and the event will be held in person at BDO, 3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields, Manchester, M3 3AT.
