What’s new in Manchester for 2023?

Manchester continues to thrive with new bars, restaurants and venues opening up across the city this year. Here are a few things we’re looking forward to checking out!

Manchester Museum – a much anticipated re-opening of this treasure trove of information is happening on 18 February 2023 with their Golden Mummies of Egypt exhibition. Entry is free but you can book your tickets here to guarantee you can get in.

Maya – opening in the spring on Chorlton Street this restaurant will be led by Mancunian chef Gabe Lea, who has previously worked at establishments like Le Manoir and The French at The Midland Hotel.

Factory International – with their new building set to open this summer we are looking forward to exploring the space and seeing what dance, theatre, music, visual arts, performance, installation and digital commissions will be showcased. House of Fu – the delicious noodles of House of Fu will be arriving in Manchester in 2023. Home to tasty ramen, gyoza, and karaoke it has MLS night out written all over it.
