All that glitters is not gold……………………………!

I know said I wouldn’t do anything daft for charity again after doing �Can You Sing Manchester� dueting with John Ashcroft last year, abseiling (and screaming VERY loudly) down the side of Old Trafford the year before and jumping out of a plane (and screaming even louder) the year before that!

Well I have had my arm well and truly twisted and on 3rd November I shall be putting on my lycra, sparkles and dancing shoes and taking part in a charity “glitter ball” dance off (we are not allowed to call it anything to do with Stric*ly) in aid of Preston and Chorley Headway.

Nine couples, made up of business people from Manchester who have all been teamed up with a professional dancer, are all practicing away ready for the big dance off at a glamorous gala dinner at The Lowry Hotel. �I am obviously the Anne Widdecombe of the group and the only saving grace is I have a very lovely 23 year old professional world champion dance partner (high fives and fist pumps!!!!!)
