Family Law Committee

As the Chair of the Manchester Law Society Family Law Committee, I am committed to ensuring that the Committee remains a relevant, engaging, and valuable resource for family law practitioners across our region.

Our primary aim is to create a forum where members can share expertise, explore challenges, and support one another in navigating the evolving landscape of family law.

I am particularly focused on ensuring that our meetings add genuine value. Majority feature expert guest speakers and practical discussions tailored to current issues in our field.

The  Committee continues to organise the annual Family Law Conference, a standout event in our calendar, as well as new initiatives including social gatherings and charitable activities to promote community and wellbeing.

These additional events are a great opportunity to connect informally with colleagues and support causes that matter locally.

My goal is to revitalise engagement and make the Committee a space where members feel supported, inspired, and heard.

I warmly welcome new members and ideas, and I look forward to working together to ensure we continue to deliver real value to the Manchester family law community.
