Online Booking Now Available for MLS Events
After many months of work, we’re delighted to say that we now have online booking available for a selection of our upcoming events. This means that you can pay by card immediately at the time of your booking.
So, as this is a relatively new system for us all, the MLS Team have put together a ‘crash course’ for our new online booking process, which you can find below.
This novelty also inevitably brings about some teething issues and technical difficulties, so if you come into any problems or would like to provide any feedback, we’d be grateful if you could get in touch with us so we can address this as soon as possible – screenshots of any errors are a big help!
How do I book online?
- Please visit each event’s individual webpage to find the relevant booking form – this is at the very bottom of the page. You can find a list of all our events on sale here.
- In the booking form, fill in your contact details, confirm your dietary/access requirements and accept our event terms & conditions to continue to payment
- Once on the payment page, enter your card details to make payment. Please check that you’re being charged the correct amount (i.e. for events with member/non-member rates) before completing your booking
- If your booking and payment was successful, you will receive an automatic email confirming we have received payment. The MLS Team will then be in touch within 48 hours with an official booking confirmation email including the event’s details. We will also attach an invoice to the email should you require this for VAT purposes.
If you have not received an email from us within this timeframe but have successfully made payment, please reach out to us to confirm your booking. - If your booking or payment fails, please contact us at events@manchesterlawsociety.org.uk so we can investigate and personally book you on to the event.
PLEASE NOTE: Our booking form checks your email against our membership records. If you work for one of our corporate member firms, you may be eligible to receive a discounted member rate for our conferences. Please contact us if you are having difficulties with receiving the correct membership rate or are unsure of your membership status.
If you have any group bookings or would prefer to book via email, please email events@manchesterlawsociety.org.uk with the name and email address of the attendee(s). Once processed, we will send you an official booking confirmation with an invoice attached.
Our invoices can be made via bank transfer or via credit card over the telephone. Please call the office on 0161 667 8086 if you wish to make payment over the phone.
