We Love MCR Charity is proud to launch the Great Outdoor Challenge 2025 – Their 5th annual trek with a purpose!
This is more than just a trek – it’s a unique team-building adventure, a chance to connect with nature, and a powerful way to give back to Manchester’s communities. Whether you’re a business looking for an unforgettable team day, or an individual who loves a challenge and cares about our city, this is your moment.
For the past two years, MLS has had strong representation in We Love MCR’s outdoor challenges through members, council members and presidents – it would be brilliant to see that continue in 2025!
Date: Friday 18th July 2025
Location: Lake District National Park (Ghyll Head base)
Travel: Return coach travel provided from Manchester included in event fee
Food: Post-challenge BBQ and drinks for all participants
Entry: £50 now £25 per person
Fundraising target: suggested £200

Langdale Horseshoe | 20km | 1600m elevation | 7 hours | 40 places maximum
A rugged, rewarding climb for serious adventurers.
- The Hike & Lake Row
Gummers Howe to Lake Windermere | 16km | 334m elevation | 4.5 hours | 30 places maximum
A balanced mix of hill walking and lake rowing with spectacular views.
