e petition vs price competition for criminal defence services

I have just posted an e petition calling for the abandonment of the MoJ proposals for price competition for criminal legal aid.

I am hoping it will help galvanise opposition to the proposals in advance of the promised consultation that is due out ot the end of the year. It takes about 30 secondss to sign the petition and the link is below;
