Rebecca is noted by the Legal 500 North West Private Client Guide as someone who “gives clients complete confidence that they are in good hands.”

Rebecca is an experienced solicitor dealing with all aspects of private client work from capital taxes planning using Wills, trusts and gifting arrangements, to complex and cross border estate administration, and advising private family charitable trusts and CIOs. Rebecca works closely with Clarke Willmott’s corporate team in acting for owner managed businesses to assist with tax efficient succession planning.

She has particular interest in complex, high value and cross border estate administration where her efficiency and experience is of particular value to clients.

Rebecca enjoys working with and helping all types of private clients from high net worth families to landed estates and entrepreneurs.

Rebecca has also been ranked as a Band 2 Key Lawyer in the Legal 500 Guide 2026 and Band 2 Star Associate in Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide 2025 and is a member of the Manchester Law Society Private Client Committee and the Manchester Law Society Council.

Matthew is a Partner in Clarke Willmott’s Corporate and Commercial team in Manchester, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, buy-outs, joint ventures, and data governance.

He acts for clients across a broad range of sectors, but has particular expertise in the healthcare, financial services and education sectors.

Prior to joining Clarke Willmott in 2019, Matthew spent two years leading the legal function of a national healthcare provider and consolidator from their Manchester office. Matthew sits as a committee member of pro-Manchester’s healthcare sector group.
