It’s the event we all know and love… it’s the Posh Pub Quiz!
We are excited to announce that the 2026 Posh Pub Quiz will be taking place on Thursday 7th May, in aid of the Greater Manchester Law Centre.
Each year, Manchester’s finest legal professionals battle it out to win our legal community’s second-biggest prize of the year (of course, after the Manchester Legal Awards!)
Joined by our resident Quizmaster Chris Payne, our Posh Pub Quiz is an evening for teambuilding and networking as well as proving your knowledge against your fellow legal professionals.
Although a freelance photographer now, Chris spent over a decade as quizmaster at the Cornerhouse weekly quiz, as well as presenting the monthly film quiz. His quizzes are generally entertainment-based, with a combination of stupid facts, music clips, film quotes and random bobbins – and range in difficulty from easy-peasy to downright mean.
Timings
18:00 – 18:30 Book in and bubbles
18:30 – 21:30 Quiz and cash bar
How does it work?
Each team has a maximum of five people, but there can be multiple teams.
Teams will be quizzed on a range of trivia topics, from film and music to geography and world history.
Prizes go to the most points won, the best team name and the ironically sought after wooden spoon – our £5 Greggs gift vouchers for each team member!
How do I book?
You can book your places by emailing with the details of your team members and your team name to [email protected]. Please advise of any known dietary or access requirements at the time of booking so they can be catered for.
As one of our more popular events, we encourage you to get your tickets as soon as possible. Limited numbers means that we will be accepting teams first come, first served. Don’t miss out!
Cost to attend:
£42.00 including VAT per team member with a maximum of 5 per team.
Includes a drink on arrival, quiz participation and a delicious sharing platter! Please advise us of any access or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
