We are delighted to announce our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Forum‘s very first event – a panel designed to encourage more collaboration and communication between opponents in the sector, such as claimant vs defendant.
This session aims to start a conversation and open a dialogue between both sides, joined by solicitors from each respective area, as well as a senior barrister.
Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence cases are often complex, which can cause contention, conflict and tension between opponents.
Now, our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Forum is setting out to change this narrative and start a new dialogue, with a FREE panel event to discuss how we can alleviate these conflicts and instead promote better communication and collaboration from all sides of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.
We’ll be hearing from solicitors from both sides (claimant and defendant) as well as members of counsel and the judiciary, to offer a range of perspectives and experiences.
Chaired by our Forum Co-Chairs Cheryl Palmer-Hughes and Kathryn White, our expert panelists will discuss what good (and bad!) collaboration looks like, talk through the common thorny issues, and encourage ways both parties can work together to improve the experience for them, the judiciary and, arguably most importantly, their clients.
Following the panel, there will be refreshments and the opportunity to network with other attendees.
This panel event will be the perfect opportunity to learn, share and connect in your sector – book today!
Panellists include:
- Daniel Frieze, Head of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, St John’s Buildings
- Helen Kanczes, Partner, Clyde & Co
- Colin Murphy, Partner, Leigh Day
- Jonathan Heap, Health Litigation Partner, Hill Dickinson
- Ben Gent, Head of Clinical Negligence, Slater & Gordon (Manchester)
… with more to be announced!
