Manchester is blooming marvellous
You may have already heard of Bloomtown, The National Trust’s trail of over 40 different Blossom hotspots across Manchester, Salford and Trafford. Now in its third year the trail encourages people to go on a journey and spot the Blossom across the city, including the iconic purple foxglove trees in St. Peter’s Square, the beautiful spire cherry trees on Tariff Street or the marvellous magnolias in Parsonage Gardens.
There is also a programme of events, workshops and activities at Castlefield Viaduct, parks and green spaces and other partner venues designed to celebrate the Blossom season, encouraging people to notice, connect with and care about nature, beauty and their local environment.
Get involved in the festivities and invite your company to submit a team into the Blossom Dash!
Get a team together from your place of work for a fun-filled race against other teams to collect as many Blossom Hotspots as you can in 2 hours. Winners flower crowns and prizes are up for grabs and you can be awarded as one of the Bloomtown Bosses of 2025!
Ask your colleagues, friends and family to sponsor you to raise much needed funds to support the future of Castlefield Viaduct and keep nature alive across Manchester for years to come.
