Get Trekking for Charity!
This August, MLS’s charity partner, We Love MCR Charity, is inviting members to join them for their 4th annual trekking challenge on 23rd August for a fundraising event providing an incredible team-building experience.
For 2024, they’ll be taking 70 trekkers from Manchester by coach to their Great Outdoor Challenge in the stunning Lake District National Park!
For added accessibility, we are offering fundraisers two different, yet challenging, routes that will test your determination and fitness.
Mountain Challenge Hike + Lake Challenge
Langdale Horseshoe
20km, ~7hrs, 1600m elevation
Rugged mountain paths with steep ascent and descent
LIMITED TO 40 PLACES
Hike + Lake Challenge
Gummers Howe + Windermere
16km, ~4.5hrs, 334m elevation
Hike to summit, then 6km kayak traversal across the Lake
LIMITED TO 30 PLACES
